We are pleased to announce the IMTEX FORMING 2012 – Metal & Non-Metal (Plastics and Composites) International Forming Technology Exhibition at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bangalore, India. IMTEX FORMING series is the largest exhibition of forming manufacturing technologies in South and South-East Asia.
IMTEX FORMING 2012 will exclusively show case the latest forming technologies not only for metals but also for plastics and other engineering materials like Composites and Ceramics which find wide application in engineering products.
Concurrent with IMTEX FORMING 2012 IMTMA is also organising Tooltech 2012 international exhibition on Dies & Moulds, Forming Tools, Machine Accessories, Metrology & CAD /CAM.
Each of these shows will present the latest machinery, equipment, processes, tools, accessories, software and raw materials and feed stocks required by manufacturers to produce formed parts.
The previous IMTEX FORMING exhibition was held from 21 – 26 January 2010, and featured participation of 427 companies. Spread over 25,000 square metres of gross area, IMTEX FORMING 2010 along with Tooltech 2010 had participation from 26 overseas countries, including 4 country-groups from Belgium, China, Taiwan and Germany. Other major overseas countries represented at the exhibition included Australia, France, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, & USA.
The exhibition was host to around 44,000 business visitors from all across the Indian manufacturing industry. Interaction with business visitors led to a virtual sell-out of all machines displayed at the exhibition and further generated serious business enquiries to the tune of Rs. 12 billion.
Expectations are high about an upbeat investment environment in India around the time when IMTEX FORMING 2012 and Tooltech 2012 are scheduled. Indian economy and its industry are poised to take India to a new league at the global level in 2012. This in turn spells very high opportunities for machine tools and manufacturing solutions industry.
